- Mandarin Reading: (1) Whole Class: Completed Better Chinese Lesson 22 The Weather Today Is Nice. (2) guided reading in centers:book named Moving House from Chinese Reader series.
- Writing: the students completed the writing project associated with social studies ( writing a story about following rules at school). Students were asked to implement writing process.
- Math: Time: 1) telling time after the hour 2) telling time before the hour 3) time intervals. Next Week: Completing Unit of Time & Start the Unit of Table & Graphs
Last Week Learning:
- Characters: 等於 乘法 除法 分鐘 數字
- Mandarin Reading: 1) whole class: started Better Chinese Lesson 21 2) guided reading in centers: 他跑得快!(he runs quickly) from Chinese Reader series.
- Writing: 1) whole class: writing strategy “edit”, work with each student individually on editing their narrative writing (a story about following rules) 2)in centers: work with the students individually to edit the letter they have written for the pen-pal in Shanghai

- Whole class project(a play): the kids still work on their class play. They enjoyed it very much! Through this activity, I have targeted the instructions of cooperation, problem solving and Chinese speaking skills.
